Hotshot is book # 11 in the Buchanan-Renard series but despair not, each of the books in the series can be read as a stand-alone.
I have no idea why these books have been included in the series, except for the first 6 or 7, Buchanan family never comes into play in any of them I think. The only common thread is the presence of an FBI officer.
Well, if you have been reading Julie Garwood books over the years, obviously, you know that they are good enough for some breezy reading. The mystery is not too intense, the romance and sex are really good and both factors hold good in this one too with an additional drama of sabotage involved.
I have read all the books in the series and love them for exactly what it offers, some mindless fun and sexy heroes😉
So now officially I can say I have read all the books published by Julie Garwood and if you are new to the scene, please begin with her historical romances. The humor that she could create in her stories is simply mind-blowing!

I used to love Julie Garwood’s historical romances. I didn’t know she had a mystery/romantic suspense series. I’ll have to put book 1 on my list!

Oh yeah, historical romances by Julie garwood are a league of their own I think. In fact, I fell in love with the genre after reading those books. The contemporaries up until 4 or 5 are good but after that they kind of lose steam and more or less begin to sound similar, thou I love them for all that macho heroism😉
