Dream Man by Linda Howard #BookReview #Paranormal #RomanticSuspense #Mystery

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dream Man by Linda Howard is a paranormal romantic suspense story. Of course, I have read a few books by Linda Howard, and having realized that I have quite a lot of catching up to do with my favorite genre, I have been trying to do just that.

Dream Man was surprisingly gory and gruesome with the description of the macabre deaths and the romance element was totally unexpected. Well, there was the hero who more or less acts like a douchebag at the first and then as the sexy relationship between Marlie and Dane does develop, it is to see the author throwing a spammer in their relationship with a twisty curveball.

I loved Marlie as a character, her acceptance in how people perceive her gifts was totally epic. With a hilarious epilogue and thrilling suspense, Dream Man was an exciting story and a fast-paced quick read.

Detective Dane Hollister of the Orlando police department has never met anyone quite like Marlie Keen. While he has doubts about her supposed clairvoyant powers, she sees crimes as they’re being committed, there is no doubt about how much he desires her. To Marlie, Dane is all heat and hard muscle, and he makes her body come alive as it never has before. But not even she can foresee that their passion will lead them on a dangerous journey into the twisted mind of a madman who will threaten their happiness and their lives.
