The Other Wife: A Twisted Tale by Ruchira Khanna #BookReview #Life #Fiction #KindleIndia #KindleUnlimited @abracabadra01

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The fun I had realizing the irony of the title! Totally unexpected, The Other Wife by Ruchira Khanna had a slice of comedy running thru it even when she opens our eyes to some introspection.

Dimple is in love, so when faced with objections to marriage from her parents, she obviously opts for the easiest solution that is to elope. But is her life gonna be a bed of roses when the parents that you have loved all your life holds that one act of rebellion as the greatest tragedy of their lives?

The author has portrayed the troublesome mind and the consternation hidden in the subconscious that derails every joy and becomes a hindrance to our daily life. The title does give a mysterious feel but the twist in the tale is sure to leave the readers with pondering thoughts about actions and reactions and the cause and effect of it all.

Ruchira Khanna always writes with a flair, easy and flowing narrative with humor and dry wit that engages the reader thoroughly.

The Other Wife is definitely a pleasurable read but what I do admire is the talent of the author in getting the reader to contemplate married life with a smile on one’s face especially in a novella.

Awesome 💦 💦 💦 💦 💦

Many thanks to the author for a chance to read and review this book. All opinions are expressed voluntarily.

Dimple is at the peak of her career when a devastating event changes her whole life. Amidst legal battles, she finds love and takes a decision that will change her life yet again. But will that decision go well with her parents?

Will, there be a happily-ever-after for Dimple and her beau, or will she need to accept the other wife?
The Other Wife is a twisted tale sure to entertain as well as make you introspect.
