Book Review
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Tessa Dare, you just proved me wrong.
No villains and no drama and yet 5+++ glowing stars for this gem of a book.
The hero is brooding, the heroine is in her element, rules have been set and the marriage has happened, but what can one do when the woman in question decides to toss all the rules out of the window.
Pure unadulterated fun with crackling chemistry, The Duchess Deal is sweet and romantic and all that in between. The secondary characters especially the unconventional butler named Khan and a cranky cat named Breeches were an utter delight.
If you are ever feeling low or the blues, trust me, grab a copy of this and just SMILE.
This one is surely going into my in all time favorite list😊

Book Blurb
When girl meets Duke, their marriage breaks all the rules…
Since his return from war, the Duke of Ashbury’s to-do list has been short and anything but sweet: brooding, glowering, menacing London ne’er-do-wells by night. Now there’s a new item on the list. He needs an heir—which means he needs a wife. When Emma Gladstone, a vicar’s daughter turned seamstress, appears in his library wearing a wedding gown, he decides on the spot that she’ll do.
His terms are simple:
– They will be husband and wife by night only.
– No lights, no kissing.
– No questions about his battle scars.
– Last, and most importantly… Once she’s pregnant with his heir, they need never share a bed again.
But Emma is no pushover. She has a few rules of her own:
– They will have dinner together every evening.
– With conversation.
– And unlimited teasing.
– Last, and most importantly… Once she’s seen the man beneath the scars, he can’t stop her from falling in love…

How are you doing??
I just want a book recommendation from you…like a simple sweet love story types…or your most favorite fiction….plzzz
Oh God, you are asking the wrong person Shivani😅 I always go for historical romances rather than contemporary, but top of my mind is Katherine Center’s What You Wish For which was lovely. Not particularly sweet but uplifting:-)
Favorite fiction is a very tough question, yaar, I will have to give you a list genre wise🤣🤣🤣.
Hope all good at your end❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Georgia. It was a book that make you smile throughout.😄
Looks like a real tease but the cover promises steamy!
Yes Noelle, the steamy scenes also have humor so it was quite fun to read this. Well, I always enjoy a Tessa Dare book.😁
