Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts

Blue Dahlia (In the Garden, #1)

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Another NR book which is part of a trilogy and as always with me, I have read book 2 sometime back and honestly don’t remember much about it. Hopefully now I won’t forget to somehow find a copy of book 3 so that the trilogy is complete. NR writes beautifully well of coz there’s no doubt of it if your 200 odd books flood the market, one can imagine how prolific she is. So Blue Dahlia was chosen coz of my spook love even though Halloween month is officially over.

Blue Dahlia introduces to us 3 women Stella,Rosalind and Hayley each of them strong in their own right. Here, the story is focused on Stella and Logan. The book opens with a very grief filled chapter but NR book, so obviously there’s another love story to be developed and everything works out well.
There’s the ghost called Harper Bride who adds to the tension in the story but in a mild way and not the creepy menace that I had expected.

NR has always managed something new in all her books even though the basic plot line could be the same. In The Garden trilogy it is gardening that has been detailed to perfection so much that I am sure if one wants to learn something about gardening, this series should obviously help😊
