And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini

And the Mountains Echoed

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Khaled Hosseini has a way of writing that pulls out every emotional fiber inside your body. There’s such sadness permeating from every page in the book but amidst all that there’s what we call Hope. The hope of living, the hope of surviving, the hope of achievement. He has once again revolved the stories around children and the effects of war across generations, the implications of decisions taken, the regrets and the guilt. Each and every character has had to endure and the will to survive among perils and odds.
Phew…Its been such a long time since I have shed tears reading any book but this really affected me badly. A solid reading!
