Samantha Quinn’s Never Say Die is book #1 in the Lightcastle Cove Series. A fun and fast-paced read in the romantic suspense genre, Never Say Die was entertaining.

Like most books in the genre, there’s suspense with some sexy romance between a beautiful heroine and a drool-worthy hero and to my delight, a charming dog called Dutch. The story has its fun moments with a heroine who one feels like giving a whack in the head, she behaves a total bimbo half the time, not even ready to accept the fact that someone is out there to kill her. Hunter Sloan as a DEA agent was the macho hero who finds a constantly fainting Miranda utterly charming, LOL.

The babbling heroine creates a lot of chuckle-worthy scenes, and I loved the humor in the story even though it came at the expense of a naïve protagonist. The chemistry between the leads was excellent and the action at the end adds the thrill to this story.

In all, an easy and enjoyable story for a lazy afternoon.

Recommended for fans of the genre.
